We ALL have a purpose

There are so many books about finding your souls purpose on this planet. I love all these different ways to open our minds. Another way to do this is contemplation. Dedicated thought to one item. We've done this before but this week lets devote some silence (yes, you sitting quietly without distraction, you can do it) to contemplating the question, "What is God's purpose for my life?". Rev Darrell Jones, well he's almost official but certainly is already a minister said this, "Our Life is actually God's vision!" Thanks for that Darrell. And if we know that our life is God's vision it gets so much easier! So lets get quiet, lets ask, lets listen. I will actually be devoting an entire day of silence to this, any takers?

Simple Everyday Spiritual Practice
Determine a time and space for you to get quiet and still. Close your eyes, breath slowly, center yourself, and ask "What is God's purpose for my life? or "Why did my Spirit inhabit this body in this time right now?" or "What am I here for?" or "What is God's vision of me?" Or come up with your own question along those lines. But be persistent, do it everyday for as many minutes as you can. Or devote one whole day to it. Ask, and the door shall be opened. We all have a gift to share with the world, lets get to it!
