Fast from WHAT?!
Many of you know that I fast and cleanse pretty regularly and love it. It's about to be spring cleaning time and it came to me...how about we have a fast! I don't mean give up all food or anything like that, that can be dangerous for many people, I'm not advising that. Pick something that feels like if you let it go for a week, it might create more space in in your life. The options are endless-candy or soda or tv or the news or the newspaper or the snooze button or gossip or cookies or complaining...
There are so MANY options. Fasting from anything for one week gives you an opportunity to create space for more peace, more ease, and what I love more practice!.
Simple Everyday Spiritual Practice
Fast. Yes, pick one thing and give it up for the whole week. You choose. It can be something small like the snooze or something big (for me) like chocolate. Be mindful during each time that you consciously choose not to have it. In that moment take a breath and know that you are creating space for more peace, joy, love, wholeness and all around goodness in your world.
